The gold edition of Tata Safari: 2021: What’s new?
In particular, a variety of cosmetic changes have been achieved in the Safari gold version on the outside and on the inner. First of all, the product is available in two colours – White Gold, pairing Frost White to black contrast roof, and Black Gold, which uses black to provide a touch of gold and which gives a very dark brown coffee colour. It is also possible in a pair of colours. Both versions are subtly golden on the grill, headlights, door handles, roof rails and baths. The 18-inch Charcoal black alloy wheels, like those seen on Safari Adventure Persona, complement the exterior looks.
Inside the Gold Edition takes things one step further, as with the oyster white colour scheme in both versions as in the standard Safari. The ‘Safari White Gold’ is finished in a unique white marble and in gold to the dashboard with a gold insert underneath it which flows along the cabin width. On the other hand, the ‘Safari Black Gold’ carries a black and gold marble finish on the dashboard but here, the whole-wide lower insert is gloss black rather than gold. In addition, on the inscriptions, CA vents, cluster instrument and door handles, both versions also receive gold accents.
In addition, Tata motors used this opportunity to add certain new functions to the Safari, beyond the current XZA+ top-specific version. These new features include diamond-wrapped, genuine leather seats with first and second rows ventilation, wireless charge, air purifier, Android Auto wireless, and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The later three are also available on the Safari Adventure edition.
In the IPL 2021 a “Safari Gold Hit Challenge” takes place in Tata, where the car making company contributes an amount of Rs 2 lakh to the Akshaya Patra Fund for the COVID-19 relief, each time a six batsman reaches ball lands on either the car, the display podium, or the commercial board of Safari Gold.
