Lexus has teased the all-new NX, which will be unveiled on June 12 Next-gen Lexus NX SUV. For the time being, Lexus has only revealed the SUV’s rear hatch, with no information on what it will bring to the table. The NX is definitely due for a change, as there hasn’t been much change since 2015. Only in 2018 did the company release a facelift for the SUV, and it even made its way to India during that time. So, the new-generation LX is about to be unveiled, and we can’t wait to learn more about it.

Lexus formally tinkered in the new NX genre before its international premiere. The Japanese crossover will be the second-generation model and move to a new platform with evolutionary changes in style over the outgoing model.

A single teaser image that shows the raked C- and LED pillars running across the rear door does not convey many details. It’s rumored that NX will use Toyota’s TNGA-K modified version, shared with current-gen RAV4. The next gene will be used. The NX will benefit from various options for petroleum and hybrid powertrains, from the 2.5-liter four-cylinder motor to the 3.5-liter V6 along with some hybrid options.

The new Lexus NX generation could be based on the Toyota TNGA-K platform, which was tweaked. This is the same platform as the existing Toyota RAV4, so both crossover SUVs may share more than basic components.

Lexus is expected to offer the NX as standard four-cylinder hybrid (PHEVs) in the 2.5-liter Toyota RAV4.

Lexus is expected to launch its new NX in India in a few months after its global debut on June 12, 2021. As the existing Lexus NX is between Rs 58-63 lakh, the new NX expects to be a bit more expensive “as read and reported by www.carwale.com”.
