Automobile purchasers have recently been affected by a new trend of limited and special editions of mass-market cars. What these offerings offer are improved aesthetic appeal and alternatives of individualisation while keeping the identical proposal. Engine and Transmission

With both 1.4-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engines, the Seltos X Line can be mechanically used. The first unit is connected with a 7-speed DCT, but the latter is connected to an automatic six-speed transmission. In the meantime, the Harrier has a 2.0-litre diesel engine, 168bhp and 350Nm peak engines, which are combined with a manual for six velocities and an automatic six-speed transmission.

So, which special edition is a great purchase? Well, both models are certainly attractive but they have their weaknesses as well. In cases where a manual transmission is lacking in the Seltos X Line, a petrol engine is not available. Priced by Rs 1.34 lakh compared to the Mid-spec XTA+ and a stunning Rs 3 lakh above the XZA + trim of the Harrier, Seltos is reasonable with the price tag of Rs 18.10 lakh (ex-showroom) in price comparisons.
