The Maruti Suzuki Celerio has long been associated with a no-frills vehicle. For the past seven years, the hatchback has been providing excellent service to clients. The corporation has released the new-generation Celerio in the country to rekindle interest in the brand. The Heartect platform underpins the new model. The new Celerio features an all-black design that is popular in the premium line-up. As a result of the longer wheelbase, the occupants now have extra legroom. The boot capacity has grown from 235 to 313 liters. The new Celerio also comes with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, depending on the version.

The Tiago continues the Tata tradition of providing considerable space for the occupants. The new Tiago comes with a seven-inch touchscreen all-digital instrument cluster, a gloss-finished center console insert, and updated air-conditioning controls, depending on the model. A tri-arrow motif can also be found on the chairs. The boot space, on the other hand, is only 242-liters.

The Maruti Suzuki Celerio is equipped with a 1.0-liter K10C three-cylinder engine that produces 66bhp at 5,500rpm and 89Nm at 3,500rpm. This engine is available with either a five-speed manual or an automatic transmission (AMT). The CNG alternative is expected to be available at some point in the future.

The Tata Tiago is equipped with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that produces 85bhp at 6,000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 3,300rpm. This engine is available with a five-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission (AMT).
