Lamborghini Huracan STO: what is visually different?

In comparison to the rest of the Huracan lineup, the STO is the most track-focused model. To that end, it receives a number of upgrades in line with the Huracan Super Trofeo Evo and successful GT3 racing models, with the goal of not only improving downforce but also optimizing engine cooling.

The stylistic signals from Race Car include a one-piece front and cap section, cap shutters, new front splitters, NACA air intakes, an airscoop and a deflector design that is located on top of the engine cover, an adjustable spoiler, magnesium spoilers, a new rear diffuser, and a refurbished underbody. Lamborghini claims that 75% of the car’s body panels are made of carbon fiber in order to save weight.

Weight reduction measures are also applied to the cabin with extensive use of carbon fiber including carbon sports seating, lightweight door latches for carbon door panels, and even woven carbon floor mats instead of tapestries.

Lamborghini claims that the Huracan STO is 43 kg lighter than the Huracan Performante now disengaged and generates an increase in downforce of 53 percent.
