Audi RS 5 to be launched

New Audi models, including electric cars and high-performance sedans, will be introduced in India shortly. Last month, the German automaker introduced the e-Tron SUV and e-Tron Sportback in India. Next week, the company will launch a high-performance vehicle in India. This week, on August 9, Audi Australia will launch the new Audi RS 5 to be launched sedan in Australia. It’s a high-performance version of the S5 Sport back, which was introduced here in March of 2014. Some years ago, Audi had already introduced its two-door RS 5 model to the Indian marketplace. A four-door coupe model will be imported this time, instead of the two-door sedan model.

Before its launch on August 9, 2021, Audi India teased the new RS5 Sport back on its social media accounts. In addition to a new exterior design, the updated model will have new features over the previous model.

The styling of the RS5 is expected to be tweaked in small ways. In the front, a gloss-black grille with a honeycomb pattern is flanked on either side by matrix LED headlights that have an aggressive appearance. In addition to the new design, it now has larger air intakes and a more stylish appearance. Inspired by the 1984 Audi Sport Quattro, an additional horizontal air vent is located just above the grille.

In addition, there are 19-inch alloy wheels that can be upgraded to larger 20-inch alloy wheels on the side. There is a lip spoiler on the rear of the RS5. The split LED taillights have been redesigned to be sleeker and more attractive. The oval-shaped twin exhaust tips now adorn the bumper, which is now finished in chrome.

The freestanding touchscreen infotainment system has been upgraded to the latest MIB3 software. Additionally, RS-spec sports seats, steering wheel, and RS logo embossed on the armrest and seat backs are expected to be included in the black and grey theme of the cabin. The interior will also feature leather and Alcantara.

Under the hood, the 2021 Audi RS5 Sportback continues to use a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 450hp and 600Nm. Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system sends power to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. Due to this, it can sprint from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in just 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 250 kilometers per hour (that can be optionally raised to 280kph) “as read and reported by www.carwale.com”.
