MG Motor India has recently made waves in the market by launching the highly anticipated MG ZS EV Exclusive Pro trim. This new variant of the popular ZS EV SUV is equipped with a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features, ensuring top-notch safety and convenience for drivers and passengers alike. The ZS EV Exclusive Pro costs Rs 59,000 more than the standard Exclusive trim, with an initial price of Rs 27.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
With the addition of the Exclusive Pro trim, the ZS EV lineup now offers a total of three enticing options for customers to choose from. This expanded range caters to a wider audience, accommodating varying preferences and budgets. It is important to note that despite the improvements made in terms of cutting-edge safety technologies, the mechanical design of the ZS EV has not changed. It continues to deliver the same outstanding performance and environmentally friendly electric powertrain that has won drivers’ high praise.
One of the key highlights of the ZS EV Exclusive Pro is the matching of its ADAS package to that of the gasoline-powered Astor SUV. This means that ZS EV owners can now enjoy the same level of cutting-edge driver assistance functions previously exclusive to Astor, ensuring a seamless and safe driving experience. MG Motor’s commitment to equipping the ZS EV with state-of-the-art safety features further solidifies its position as a leader in the electric vehicle market.
Overall, the launch of the ZS EV Exclusive Pro trim marks an exciting milestone for MG Motor India, as it continues to revolutionize the electric SUV segment with advanced technology, enhanced safety, and a wider range of options for discerning customers.
MG ZS EV Exclusive Pro: What’s New?
The newly launched MG ZS EV Exclusive Pro trim brings an exciting range of additional features to enhance the driving experience and safety of the electric SUV. Although the earlier ZS EV models already included helpful assistance features like blind spot identification, lane change assistance, and rear cross-traffic alert, the Exclusive Pro trim raises the bar with a broader range of cutting-edge driver aid technologies.
With the Exclusive Pro trim, MG has introduced a host of new features to provide drivers with more convenience, control, and safety. These additions include:
Traffic Jam Assist: This feature helps in congested traffic situations by assisting with steering, acceleration, and braking, making commuting smoother and less fatiguing.
Forward Collision Warning: The system uses sensors to detect potential front-end collisions and alerts the driver to take corrective action to prevent an accident.
Autonomous Emergency Braking: In critical situations, this feature applies the brakes automatically to avoid or minimize the impact of a collision.
Lane Keep Assist: By monitoring lane markings, this system helps keep the vehicle centered in its lane and alerts the driver if an unintentional lane drift occurs.
Lane Departure Warning: Alerts the driver if the vehicle starts to drift out of its lane without the use of turn signals.
Speed Assist Systems: These systems include features like speed limit recognition and intelligent speed assist, which help the driver adhere to speed limits and maintain safe driving speeds.
Adaptive Cruise Control: This advanced cruise control system adjusts the vehicle’s speed to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead, providing a more relaxed and comfortable driving experience on long journeys.
By introducing these additional features, MG aims to provide ZS EV Exclusive Pro owners with an enhanced level of safety and convenience on the road. These advanced driver assistance systems not only make driving more enjoyable but also contribute to reducing the risk of accidents and enhancing overall vehicle safety.
The MG ZS EV Exclusive Pro’s expanded suite of ADAS features showcases the brand’s commitment to staying at the forefront of automotive technology and providing customers with the latest advancements in safety and driver assistance systems.
With the exception of this, the ZS EV’s equipment list is unaltered. Additional security features include a 360-degree video, electronic stability control, six airbags, ABS with EBD, and hill descent control. In addition, it receives a panoramic sunroof, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless phone charging, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, and connected vehicle technology.
