The new Alto K10 from Maruti Suzuki has introduced last week in India with a starting price of Rs 3.99 lakh. Four different models of the hatchback are offered: Standard, LXi, VXi, and VXi+. Solid White, Silky Silver, Granite Grey, Sizzling Red, Speedy Blue, and Earth Gold are the six colors that are offered for the hatchback.
The Alto K10 has recently been reintroduced to the Maruti lineup. The previous generation model has retired a few years ago, right when the industry was transitioning to BS6 emission standards.
Maruti will place it in its ARENA outlets as an entry-level item. Alto K10 utilizes the same standard variation nomenclature map as the majority of ARENA products. Maruti will offer the Alto K10 in 4 different trim levels overall: Standard, LXi, VXi, and VXi+. Trims VXi and VXi+ will also have an AMT option available. Unusually, there is no ZXi trim available, which is typically the top-of-the-line model in most ARENA models. Let’s examine everything that each trim has to offer.
The top new features in the Alto K10 are detailed below.
– Built on the platform Heartect
– A 7-inch SmartPlay studio infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and other SmartPlay studio apps
– Audio and voice controls are mounted to the steering
– Speakers in the first portion of four
– Display for a digital speedometer
– Impacto and Glinto are two real accessory themes.

The K10’s LXi trim, which costs INR 4.82 lakhs, comes in second. Additionally, the model has indicators for gearshifts, distance to empty, and fuel consumption. The VXi trim’s full-wheel covers, body-colored outside door handles, and roof antenna gives it a slightly more pleasing appearance. The manual transmission variant of the VXi trim is priced at INR 4.99 lakhs by Maruti. Customers can purchase an AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) for INR 5.49 lakhs if they choose to do so.
Maruti Alto K10 VXi+ 2022

With the addition of remote keyless entry, the SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 4 speakers, steering-mounted audio controls, a rear parcel tray, and silver interior highlights, the variant’s feature list continues to grow. Customers who choose the AMT option must pay an extra 50K, bringing the total cost of the trim to INR 5.83 lakhs.
The hatchback has two front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, front belts with pre-tensioners and force limits, speed-sensing auto door locks, and high-speed alert as safety features.
The Next-Gen K-Series 1.0L Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine that powers the Alto K10 mechanically generates 89Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm and 66bhp at 5,500 rpm. Both the five-speed manual and AGS versions of this engine are offered. The manual transmission version claims to deliver 24.39 kmpl, whereas the AGS version claims to achieve 24.90 kmpl.
