The exterior and interior design sketches of the 2022 Hyundai facelift, which will be available in India later next year, were released by Hyundai Motor Company’s Indonesia arm. This Creta 2022 is intended for the Indonesian market and will be manufactured locally at Hyundai’s first factory in Southeast Asia. The Hyundai Creta is one of the best-selling vehicles in the world, and it received a new generation in India only last year. The 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift incorporates a new design approach as well as the most up-to-date features.
The first thing that catches our eye is the Tucson-derived taller and wider front grille, which Hyundai refers to as a ‘parametric jewel grille.’ It gives the Creta a sportier and more edgy look than the standard grille with horizontal chrome slats. Other notable features include grille-integrated headlamps and DRLs that blend in with the design when turned off. Aside from that, the bumpers appear to have been updated, with repositioned housing for the front fog lights.
From the side, the Creta resembles the previous model, with a flat roofline, broad C-pillar, and slightly protruding rear wheel haunch. While the boomerang-shaped LED tail lamps remain, the boot-mounted stop lamp has been relocated to the roof, leaving a small groove on the tailgate.
The 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift design sketches depict a confident stance, muscular body, and distinctive graphics. The strong appearance is emphasized by the straight roofline and the wide C-pillar. On the inside, a new design adds a premium, contemporary touch to the Creta facelift. The horizontal arrangement of the dashboard on the front side extends to the door that shapes the wing curve, making the front room appear bolder and more dynamic, while also providing additional protection for passengers. Furthermore, an 8-inch AVT screen is integrated with the console in the center of the fascia.

To round out its distinctive appearance, Hyundai’s latest product innovation includes a D-cut steering wheel that emphasizes the sporty impression and vertical ventilation integrated with the defogger. Furthermore, the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift includes distinctive elements that elevate the vehicle’s sophistication, such as a three-dimensional patterned grille and a silver bezel that wraps around the gear knob. A high-luminance metal console section with silver side trim adds to the premium appearance of Creta’s cockpit “as read and reported by www.indiatoday.in”.
