All of the models of the MY2023 Safari, Tata’s top-of-the-line SUV, are discounted by a combined Rs 35,000. This includes a cash discount of Rs. 10,000 and a Rs. 25,000 exchange discount. On the other hand, depending on the model chosen, Tata dealers are also providing a total discount on the unsold MY2022 Safari of up to Rs 75,000.
One item that has characterized Tata Motors’ legacy in India is the Safari. The heritage is being carried on pretty effectively by its current avatar, which was introduced in 2021. Tata aims to regain this lost ground by modernizing the Safari, but the Safari has fallen behind some of its competitors.
One 6-liter, 170-horsepower, 6-speed manual or automatic diesel engine powers the Safari. It performs well, has lots of space, a smooth ride, and a balanced handling setup. It also offers plenty of room, especially in the third row.
Tata Harrier
Up to Rs. 35,000 discount (MY2023)
Up to Rs. 75,000 discount (MY2022)
The MY2023 Harrier receives a total discount of Rs 35,000 this month, matching the Safari’s 5-seater sibling. These discounts total Rs. 10,000 in cash and Rs. 25,000 in exchange discounts. According to the chosen model, the total markdown for the MY2022 Harrier unsold stocks might reach Rs 75,000.
Tata’s return to the large SUV market was signalled with the Harrier. Therefore, the Harrier is very important to Tata Motors. But since 2020, the Harrier hasn’t undergone any significant improvements. As a result, the competition has begun to catch up with it. Tata is putting the finishing touches on the Harrier’s overhaul to combat this. At the Auto Expo, Tata gave us a sneak preview of all this makeover could include.
The Harrier receives good marks for its roomy cabin, sturdy build quality, and smooth automatic transmission. It also uses the same drivetrain and chassis as the Safari.
Tata Tigor
Discounts of up to 25,000 rupees (MY2023)
Up to Rs 35,000 discount (MY2022)
This month, Tata is providing a total discount of Rs 20,000 for the petrol Tigor and Rs 25,000 for the Tigor CNG. Unsold MY2022 stocks of the Tigor CNG and petrol variants receive a combined discount of Rs 35,000, which includes a cash reduction of Rs 20,000 and an exchange discount of Rs 15,000
A base-spec XM CNG edition of the Tata Tigor is now offered, saving you Rs 50,000 as compared to the XZ CNG. It lacks a push-button start, fog lamps, tweeters, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and a touchscreen. All four power windows, a 4-speaker Harman audio system, a 2-DIN head unit, and dual front airbags are still included in the good kit.
The Hyundai Aura and Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG versions are competitors of the Tigor CNG.
The Tiger’s 86hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox when it is in its petrol form. On the other hand, the Tigor CNG only has a 5-speed manual transmission and produces 70 horsepower in CNG mode and 86 horsepower in petrol-only mode. It competes with other small sedans such as the recently refreshed Hyundai Aura, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, and Honda Amaze.
Tata Tiago
Up to Rs. 25,000 off MY2023)
Up to 40,000 rupees in savings (MY2022)
Similar to the Tigor, all petrol and CNG models of the Tiago hatchback are eligible for total discounts of Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000, respectively. On all unsold MY2022 Tiago CNG and petrol variants, customers may take advantage of a total discount of Rs 40,000. The Tiago competes with and shares the same powertrain as the Tigor, as do the Maruti Suzuki Swift, the recently updated Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, and the Maruti Suzuki Ignis.
The Tata Tiago is an excellent value in a compact car. It offers good ride quality and decent fuel efficiency. The entertainment system is simple to operate, and the interior is nicely equipped. The vehicle is ideal for small families and is appropriate for highway and city travel. Overall, it is a great choice for people searching for a cheap car that doesn’t skimp on quality, performance, or safety.
