Honda Activa 6G BS6 Styling & Comfort:

Honda Activa 6G still looks like a traditional Activa, but with some slight new improvements. The size of the scooter has been increased, freeing up 23 mm of room in the footwell and now the seat of the scooter is also narrower. The longer seat increases the comfort of the driver and the pillion. The configuration remains more or less the same as the previous Activa 5G. At the front, you get an LED DC headlamp that is slightly better than the halogen on the previous model.

The beauty of the scooter is improved by the chrome elements in the front. The rear houses a conventional tail light with turn signals. The engine start-stop button, the external fuel filler cap, and the multi-function button add to the rider’s comfort.

Honda Activa 6G Engine:

The BS6 model is equipped with a new 109.51cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine. The engine now produces 7.79PS and 8.79Nm. The old BS4 mill has produced 7.97PS and 9Nm. Although output is down, Honda claims that the new BS6 engine provides 10 percent more fuel than before. The Activa 6G is also fitted with an ACG starter motor and a motor kill switch.

Honda Activa 6G BS6 Performance and Handling:

The Honda Activa 6 G weight is 107 kg, which is still manageable in day-to-day traffic and city conditions. The handling of the Activa should be improved as Honda cut out the spring-loaded shock absorbers for the modern telescopic fork in the front and the 3-step Adjustable Spring Loaded Hydraulic shock in the rear. This is expected to significantly improve the riding quality of the scooter. The front-wheel size has been increased from 10-inch to 12-inch, which looks good aesthetically and increases the stability of the scooter.

Honda Activa 6G Braking & safety:

One of the biggest changes to the Activa 5G Honda Activa 6G is the presence of a front telescopic fork and a 12-inch front wheel. Both of these updates should increase the stability of the Honda Activa in the bends. You will find the same preload-adjustable single shock and a 10-inch rear wheel as before. Honda skimped on offering the front disk brake as an option. The Activa 6G has to do with 130 mm drum brakes on both ends. It’s a standard CBS.

Honda Activa 6G Rivals:

The Honda Activa 6 G is a trusty, non-frills scooter, which has made it a household name in India. The Honda Activa is up against the likes of TVS Jupiter and Hero Pleasure Plus. You can also get the Hero Splendor Plus, the Hero Passion Pro 110, and the Honda Dio BS6 for the same price as the Activa 6G.
