In India, Land Rover has begun taking reservations for the next-generation Land Rover Range Rover SV, the company’s top-of-the-line model. The Special Vehicles Operation division’s flagship Land Rover will be available in Standard and Long Wheelbase body variants.

The Special Vehicles Operation team painstakingly redesigned the ordinary Range Rover to create the ultra-luxurious SV. The Range Rover SV is distinguished by a customised front radiator grille with metal-plated blades, white ceramic SV logos, and SV metal exterior accents.

It comes standard with 22-inch wheels, but clients can opt between one of 12 other wheel designs or a set of 23-inch forged wheels. Land Rover now offers 14 SV-specific paint variants in addition to regular colours. In addition, depending on body paint, two exclusive roof colours are available: Narvik Black and Corinthian Bronze.

Semi-aniline leather upholstery with a specific embroidery design for the seats, SV distinctive leather headlining, wood veneers, glass white switches, and metal pedals are all standard on this SV grade. Optional features include mosaic marquetry interior trim, an electronically deployable Club Table, and upholstery created from sustainable leather.

As a Land Rover flagship, the Range Rover SV has all the bells and whistles, such as Digital LED headlights with image projection, trademark daytime running lights, and illuminated aluminium trade plates with SV lettering, four-zone temperature control, 24-way power front seats with heating, cooling, and massage functions, powered rear seats, Meridian Signature sound system, head-up display, all-wheel steering, electronic air suspension with the dynamic response, and electronic act suspension with a dynamic response.

Two distinct powerplant options are available for the luxurious SUV. The first is a 4,395cc twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine with an automated transmission that produces 523 horsepower and 750Nm of torque. Then there’s the 2,997 turbocharged straight-six diesel engine, which produces 346 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque and is mated to an automatic transmission. Meanwhile, a 48-volt mild hybrid system is connected to the diesel engine.

“The New Range Rover SV delivers greater luxury and personalization options, enabling our clients to design a genuinely individual Range Rover that expresses their own style and individuality,” stated Rohit Suri, President and Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India “as read and reported by www.carwale.com”.
